VIII28 was envisioned by Ed Sanabria, Founder and Creative Director, whose nearly 20 years in the fashion industry motivated him to build a brand of his own. A brand that is founded in purpose, brings hope, speaks life and draws people back to their creator. Ed’s own faith journey has taught him that life can be different when you live with a renewed mindset - the VIII28 mindset is to live knowing that even in the most difficult of circumstances, All Things Work for Good.

The heart of our ethos is founded in the Bible, specifically the book of Romans 8:28. Our designs blend Ed’s mixed heritage, born in Mexico and influenced by the rich cultures across several countries he’s lived in, along with his creative vision for urban fashion.

Ed began working in his uncle’s clothing business in the city of Puebla, Mexico at the age of 15. This is where his love of fashion and design began. The story continues, now in the vibrant city of Barcelona, with his wife and business partner Sarah.
